Ludham Festival
The fourth Season of Music and the Arts centred round the medieval church of St Catherine in the beautiful Broadland village of Ludham

The Season will start on 27 April with the Inaugural Concert of the Season by Chanter's Jigge,performing on many instruments,tunes from all times;songs from all seasons and words from the wise.The Season will close with a classical violin and piano concert on Saturday 24 August,2012.
This particularly exciting Season will have several highlights. On Sunday 12 May there will be a performance by the world famous Academy of St.Martin in the Fields,performing a concert which will includes works by Benjamin Britten in this his centenary year.
Another highlight wil be Ludham Open Gardens Day when the lovely gardens either side of Womack Water are open to the public.
The final highlight will be an Open Air Concert of light classical music,"Music for a Summers Evening" performed by Norwich Pops Orchestra, many pieces with a Norfolk theme,in the lovely grounds of How Hill House, situated on the river Ant.
There will also be a three day arts and crafts event,now in its 8th year,a performance by virtuoso violinist Thomas Bowes of Bach violin sonatas.There will be a week-long exhibition during Open Churches Week, and a return visit by the Centre Stage Swing Band whose performance to a packed church was much appreciated last year.
